These are meaning for the Terms Used in my website
Angiogram A coronary Angiogram  is an X-Ray of the arteries located on the surface of the heart (the coronary arteries).  It helps the doctor to see if any of those arteries are blocked, its takes about 15-20 minutes 
Biopsy  A Biopsy is the removal of a sample of tissue from the body for examination. The tissue will be examined under a microscope to assist in diagnosis. Therefore, only very small samples are needed.
C.A.P.D 

Continuous, Dialysis carries on all the time. 

Ambulatory ,Unlike Haemodialysis you can move around as normal and carry out your daily activities. 

Peritoneal, An enclosed layer of tissue where Dialysis takes place. The Peritoneum surrounds your intestines 

Dialysis, removes waste products from your blood

E.C.G E.C.G is short for ElectroCardioGram. It is way of recording the electrical activity of your heart on a piece of a paper.
Echo Echocardiogram is an ultrasound scan of the heart and it detect abnormalities of heart structures such as the heart valves
24 Hour Tape 24 Hour Tape recordings of the E.C.G enable diagnosis of symptoms, such as palpitation, which occur intermittently but seldom in the doctor's surgery
Cyclosporin

 

 

 

Cyclosporin is a potent immunosuppressive or anti-rejection drug. It suppresses the blood cells which trigger a rejection response to the transplanted organ.
